The members of the group BTS, who reached the top of the Billboard singles chart on the 5th, expressed their joy and emotion that never goes away even after a day. BTS Big Hit Entertainment, its agency, held "Dynamite Global Media Day" on Tuesday morning. At the event, which was videotaped to the world media by announcer Kim Il-joong, the members repeated, "I can't believe I'm No. 1."
"I never thought about the day when I would reveal my feelings," said leader RM. When asked about the secret to winning first place, RM said, "Basically, I think it's the power of music and performance. Other external factors such as business approaches, staff and reporters' efforts, and the fact that (Dynamite) is an English disco pop song familiar to Americans, I think it was as powerful as Won Ki-ok (a technique that Sonokong used to make and use a circle of energy drawn from the earth and space in the cartoon Dragon Ball)." The members unanimously said, "It's all thanks to ARMY. I love you."
They pointed to the Grammy Award as their next goal. Suga said, "I performed a collaboration (with American rapper Lil Nass X) at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, and this time my dream is to do BTS' solo performance." RM said, "Grammy nominations are good, but I hope we can go further and win awards. Physical goals are also important because we have to move forward. Also, I feel that it is an unrealistic and desperate dream to have a big performance outdoors with many people as the Corona ends one day.
BTS plans to release an album and hold a concert within the year. V said, "I've been looking for a large American awards ceremony and billboard since I was a trainee, and it's amazing that I did it within seven years, and I think I'll remember it for a long time until I die that ARMY made it."
